Original description
- E-printing procurement services startup. Program Manager, Software Designer, Software Producer.
- Objective — To design, develop and manage the production of software programs and tools used in the development of iPrint.com technological solutions.
- Key Contributions — Designing, producing and managing the production of web-based development tool to drastically cut time-to-market and production costs, while maximizing profitability for dot-com e-printing services company. Tool is used both internally by employees and externally by partners to configure sophisticated aspects of e-printing procurement process, allowing users to create and set up e-printing web sites and systems in a wizard-style fashion. Already cut two weeks of work down to five minutes.
- Program Management — Communicating progress of program development to entire Technical Department, including Technical Management Team, Senior Directors and CTO. Establishing release schedules according to the pressures of time, scope and profitability. Managing team of six in daily development operations, and utilizing borrowed resources to fill testing, development and production resource holes. Leading tech publication group in generating program documentation and user manuals to support program. Managing work of Producers and Assistant Producers in conjunction with development of program.
- Software Design — Gathering program functionality requirements through user feedback and feature requests submitted by internal departments and external users. Creating mockups and seeking feedback on usability and functionality. Developing conceptual and navigational design flowcharts according to feature requirement.
- Software Production — Overseeing development of software through the management and authoring technical and engineering specifications; management and development of interface documentation; management and implementation of changes to databases; management of the migration of data, code and documentation between development environments, following the development phases of each release.
