  • Online magazine & publishing company. Web Developer, Database Manager.
  • Objective — To assist online content management team.
  • Workflow Improvement — Designed and implemented online content workflow process, saving money and improving quality and timeliness of work.
  • E-commerce Design — Designed, produced and maintained acclaimed online bookstore for high-tech executives. Allowed editors to share reviews of books and authors in real-time. Allowed visitors to search review, book and author database.
  • Daily Site Management — Updated and maintained burgeoning site on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis, keeping content fresh and the site up. Also managed online magazine article database, allowing online users to retrieve information easily and quickly.
  • Acquired Technical Skills — Coded in TQL, Thunderstone Querying Language, and made emergency fixes to live site using vi via TELNET directly on production machine. Designed and edited copy and content using BBEdit on the Mac. Became familiar with graphics manipulation using Adobe Photoshop. Also tested site-browser compatibility using Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer.
