The Second Annual Van Hiller Rock and Roll BBQ was a resounding success.
This year we dedicated the event to to things: raising money to support the fight against Type 1 Diabetes, and dedicating the new stage to a friend who no longer was with us.
- In our fundraising efforts, we raised over $3,000 to support the American Diabetes Association, bringing together many supporters, warriors, and friends.
- We also dedicated the stage to a dear friend: Jason Slater, who we lost much too soon.
We also proved the point that the even can become a foundation for elevating causes for those who can use it most.
