Growing My Leadership Shadow as a Manager

Leaning into areas far outside my role scope helped me establish how much more I can offer than the tactical role for which I was hired.

Why this belongs here

As a Senior Digital Project Manager, my impact cast a far greater shadow than just managing digital project managers and managing key projects. My work expanded into several different  areas: helping the department near-shore out of the SF Bay Area, adopting new workflow tools that fundamentally changed the way we tracked and managed work, managing the digital tool ecosystem that included everything from background Adobe comment server, foundational Mac fileserver platforms, compliance material generation and review tools, and many, many more. Though I was not part of the leadership team, I was leading by example and setting a high bar for the group.
